Home Spa Party Ideas - Manicure Party

First, pair everyone up. You'll have to take turns to be the manicurist, so work in pairs.
Then issue a pair of basins ot each pair. One basin for the hands the other for the foot.
Offer a selection of essential oils and unscented liquid soap or scented bath soap for your guests to choose from so they can make their own hand and foot baths. To make a foot or hand bath, fill the basin with warm water. Add a few drops of liquid soap and 3 or 4 drops of essential oil or just add in the bath soap.
Remove nail polish with nail polish remover before you soak your hands and feet. Leave the windows and possibly the door open for maximum ventilation when you use the nail polish removers. Trim nails with a nail clipper if necessary.
Each pair decides who goes first. The lucky one sits on a chair in front of a table and soaks her hands in a basin on the table and her feet in the basin at the foot of the chair. Her partner picks the nail colors for the manicure and the pedicure.
After soaking your hands for 10 minutes, scrub under the nails with the nail brush. Rinse and towel dry hands. Then paint on the base coat. Followed by 2 coats of nail polish. Then paint on the nail art. Finish off with a top coat. Let each coat dry completely before applying the next.
Move on to the feet. Rinse and dry the feet. Do the base coat, 2 coats of nail color, the nail art and then the top coat, again letting each coat dry completely before putting on the next layer.
Once the polish is completely dry, return the favor so everyone at the party gets a manicure and a pedicure.
